Speaking of Mother's Day...

I have a fun announcement to make: I'm 3 months pregnant!! See my baby bump? My family is speculating about twins since I seem to be showing a little early, but we only heard one heartbeat last week. I guess we'll find out at the sonogram in 4 weeks. =) Anyway, husband, family and I are SUPER excited. This will be the first grandchild for my parents.

I'm fully into maternity clothes now. My mother-in-law bought me some cute outfits this weekend. The only non-maternity pants I fit in now are 2 sizes bigger than my normal size. Is this normal?

Also, can anyone recommend a place to buy maternity pants for tall girls? Gap and Old Navy seem to be my only options for "tall" sizes.

yay-I'm so glad you shared the news!!! You look gorgeous!!!

i LOVE that dress. so cute!

Congrats WG!!! You look so beautiful! I wasn't showing that early, but you are smaller than me, so maybe that's it?

For maternity clothes, I found that you get what you pay for. I was so lucky to inherit Kellsey's clothes, so that helped stretch the budget. I highly recommend splurging on designer maternity jeans and wearing them every day! I got mine at Pea in a Pod. My favorite store was Mimi, though. And Gap had pretty good sales! I was never happy with how the Old Navy and Target stuff fit on me.

YEA!!!!! Congratulations!! I am very excited for you!

I have to agree with Lindsay on this. If there is one thing to splurge on with maternity clothes it is a good pair of maternity jeans.

Of all the maternity clothes that my mom bought me, I found that I wound up wearing my maternity jeans almost every day. They were the most expensive pair of jeans I have ever owned, and I ended up growing out of them. Be warned that some things will simply not fit all the way through the pregnancy. Even so, they reallly were what I wore every day as long as i could, and then I wore them every day the second pregnancy as well.

Hey, what size are you anyway? I could just mail my maternity jeans and my maternity cords to you and you could see if they fit. it might save you many many dollars. email me! krstokesatgmaildotcom

I have the tall-girl problem with my maternity clothes, too, so you may be able to wear my pants.

A lot of my friends have worn Babystyle and the Pumpkin Patch maternity clothes. My girlfriend had a baby a year ago and she still wears one of her pairs of jeans, because they are so comfortable and don't look like maternity wear.

it very well could be twins. i was showing that early as well. and they too only heard one heartbeat because they kept going to the same spot. i found out at 21 weeks that it was twins, monoamniotic (same sac). let me know if it is twins and you have any questions.

i am 5' 9" and have some jeans I liked. let me know if you want to use them. my email is nixonnancy@verizon.net. i went to tca with Janna, lindsay and kellsey.

ROX! you look amazing.... you know i love your hair short...so sassy and sexy - just like you! You are a beautiful momma already! I still wish you could use the name Roo....but I laugh at the thought of Rooperdue! Do splurge on a great pair of maternity jeans...some of the designer brands now make maternity...might check ebay for "designer maternity jeans". Gap is great, Old navy is ok for tops that are cheap and trendy. Mimi good to. Pea in a Pod good - both of the latter owned by the same. - em
