art I've been looking at.....
Stoclet Frieze by Gustav Klimt.
I really connect with this piece. I've been thinking/trying to make some things that are botanical, decorative-but-not. I'm looking hard at art like this....

tulip--it is actually an oil painting, though I THINK Klimt used gold leaf on some of his oils....there's a great website: iklimt.com or is it .org? Anyway, I love aspects of his work. (Be warned--much of his work is sensual and some of drawings I would consider pornographic.)
