So it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The build up was much worse than the actual turning 30, and I'm still alive to tell about it two weeks later.

As my card from my in-laws said, "there's people turning 40 who would kill to be you."

And, yeah, I'm older than my husband, too. This year I made him be nice about it. =)
